Hi folks!

Thanks to those of you who left some lovely feedback about the game. Ultimately, I hope the game was a nice cozy way to kill an hour over the winter holidays.

Some miscellaneous, small updates:

Trailer

I made a lil release trailer, because why not!

I had some fun with it - the trailer is actually all a one-take recording from an in-game cutscene I made for it, so apart from the little fade out at the end there's actually no video editing going on at all. Much like the rest of the game, it's a proudly scrappy, amateur effort :p

v1.0.3 update

This update just adds in a couple of bits of missing wall collision - nothing game breaking. Pretty relieved nothing more major has been found since tbh!

Analogue Pocket Palette

Just for fun, since the most recent Analogue Pocket update allows for custom Game Boy palettes (similarly to how they are used on a Super Game Boy), I've made one specifically for The Heart of Arel and is available for download now. Inside the zip file is the file needed and the instructions of where to put it, and how to load it.
no the blurry edges aren't a part of it, that's just phone camera problems lmao
