The Heart of Arel

The Heart of Arel is a soft, queer adventure for the Game Boy about exploring the lands to stop a deadly natural threat!

The four partners - and adventurers - will use their own strengths to discover the land's unique flora and fauna and put a stop to a deadly poisonous mist ravaging the land. Explore the wide open areas to uncover the way forward, and deepen their bonds.

Starring...

Eionn (she/they)

A curious and shy woman with an intense interest in an old alchemical instrument. Though it seems to be some old relic to most, Eionn - ever the optimist - is insistent on bringing it along for the adventure.

Aoba (she/her)

A gatherer and cook with an insatiable desire to cook huge meals to perfection, so dating three other people is a pretty great situation, really. Behind her mild-mannered exterior lies a great mind bursting with love and passion.

Eryr (they/them)

A wild soul with an incredibly keen sense for scouting. Yearns for nature, and is known for spontaneously bursting into song when the inspiration hits. Fearless and never afraid to let their particular tastes known...

Harthe (she/her)

A (figurative) princess and gremlin rolled into one adorable girl who's always ready to encourage, lift up and motivate the party. Provides cuddles and headpats at every opportunity - after all, on a long journey you need to keep spirits high!
